THE HALL
The Kars Community Hall will meet your needs for programs, weddings, wedding receptions, private parties, meetings or shows. We can provide you with a community choice that takes the stress out of your planning.
The main hall has a capacity of 240 persons. There is a fully stocked and equipped kitchen for your catering needs and a bar area with two large coolers. We also have a smaller meeting room to meet your business needs.
You must provide proof of liability insurance or purchase City of Ottawa insurance (rates vary according to type of event, number of people attending, etc.) to use the hall.
THE GROUNDS
The Kars Recreational Facility has a full-sized baseball diamond, a practice diamond, two soccer pitches (one large and one small) and a full sized skating rink. There is a children’s play structure, a dock for boat launching, a gazebo and small building with a canteen and washrooms. It is an excellent park to bring your dogs (please remember to scoop and keep our park clean).
